Substance Use Prevention Month
October is Substance Use Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about the importance of prevention, education, and early support. At Trinity Behavioral Care, we believe prevention starts with open conversations, strong connections, and access to resources that help individuals and families make healthy choices.
Prevention is especially important for young people. Red Ribbon Week, observed October 23–31, encourages communities to take a stand against substance misuse and promotes healthy, drug-free lifestyles. It is an opportunity for schools, families, and community organizations to come together, educate youth about the risks of substance use, and reinforce positive choices.
This month and throughout the year, Trinity Behavioral Care is proud to support individuals, families, and communities through education, prevention, and behavioral health services. Together, we can help create supportive environments where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Prevention starts with a conversation. Let’s make that conversation count.
